1. Our service
- RishtaSetu introduces eligible individuals and families to each other for the purpose of marriage.
- We do not guarantee that a marriage will be arranged or completed. Every decision belongs to the two families.
2. Registration
- Registration is free. There is no registration fee, advance payment or meeting charge.
- Registering does not guarantee a match.
- You must give true and complete information about the candidate and family.
3. Service charge
- A service charge is payable only when both families are fully satisfied, decide of their own free will to finalise the match, and confirm it through a ceremony such as Roka, Sagai, Tilak or Engagement.
- The charge is ₹21,000 or 1% of the wedding budget, whichever is higher.
- It is payable as ₹11,000 on the day of the engagement ceremony and ₹10,000 one week before the wedding.
- We request families not to ask for a reduction in the service charge.
4. Verification
- We share information based on the biodata and documents provided to us, and try to verify details wherever possible. We cannot guarantee that every detail is accurate.
- Profiles we have checked carry a “Verified” badge. This is a help, not a guarantee.
5. Your responsibility
- Families must independently verify the other family — meet in person, review documents, and check medical, financial, educational and other important facts before deciding.
- Please do not share mobile numbers or home addresses until both families have agreed to take the proposal forward.
6. Privacy
- Contact numbers and addresses are never shown on the website. Our office shares them only when both families agree.
- Full profiles and photos are visible only to registered members.
- We record which pages and profiles are viewed on the website to improve our service and to protect members from misuse.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties without good reason.
7. Misuse
- We may remove any profile that contains false information or forged documents, or whose owner behaves fraudulently or improperly.
- We may refuse any registration or service without giving a reason.
8. Cancellation and refunds
- If both families decide not to proceed, no fee is due.
- A service charge validly collected is non-refundable unless we agree otherwise in writing.
9. Liability
- RishtaSetu is not responsible for incorrect information given by members, or for any personal, financial or legal dispute, broken engagement or marriage, or future circumstances between families.
- You may not hold us responsible later or ask for refunds on these grounds.
10. General
- We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies.
